A solo exhibition of landscape paintings by Diana Grant.
Artists Statement:
In my painting, I work loosely to capture the essence of the scene, as if moving through it. Since these experiences are fleeting; space, color and texture are aspects I attempt to portray without over working the visual impression. My paintings can be abstract or more realistic, and I work in oil on canvas, sometimes acrylic. My tools are brush and palette knife, using one or the other to draw out the effect I want in the scene.
